TOPAZ INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD. is a 100% locally owned leading “Licensed Blender” for a wide range of Lubricants” in Malaysia. Established through business partnership in 1989 and incorporated under the Company Act 1965, TOPAZ Industries was purposely formed to address the continuous increasing demand of wide range of lubricants for domestic and export markets. Since its incorporation, TOPAZ has always practiced stringent quality control and testing protocols to ensure finished products are conformed to their formulation, specifications and standards. We strictly adhere to most of the world oil standards and all products are manufactured in accordance with the American Petroleum Institute (API) standard, the US Military Specifications (Mil-L-Specs), UK Defence Standard (UK Def Stan), ACEA, API Donut and the Japan Industry Standard (JIS). At the moment, we are the only lubricants manufacturer nominated by most “oil major” to manufacture lubricants for their domestic and export markets. Regarded as a promising and reliable local manufacturing company, TOPAZ has earned an international recognition by some multinational oil companies. We have successfully associated with (just to name a few) Petronas, Total ELF Fina, TOP 1 USA, Houghton USA, BP and BHP to produce and supply to their existing markets in ASEAN region, for their behalf. We are also nominated as a ‘third party blending facility’ for some major oil manufacturers from USA, France, British and Japan. Our reputation as the best producer of blended quality lubricants with good support services has put us to a new dimension to the business.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS
TOPAZ Industries is an approved ‘Licensed Blender’ for Lubricants by the Ministry of Trade and Industry Malaysia and is strongly supported by Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), to address the lubricants requirement especially for government sectors. We are a registered Lubricants manufacturer with Malaysian Federal Treasury and Standard Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM Bhd) and we are certified ISO9002:1994 since 1999 and upgraded to ISO9001:2008 since 2010. We were also audited with ‘zero’ NCR on 2011, a feat not easily achieved by many. At TOPAZ, our range of products is equivalent or meeting the major international oil quality standards and tests protocols. Our stringent quality control procedures and test protocols has rewarded us recognition by most of the ‘oil major’ manufacturers in-country and around the world. Managed by qualified and dedicated professional and management team, TOPAZ Industries has a vision to be the No.1 leading Lubricants manufacturer in Malaysia and given sometime within the ASEAN region. As an independent lubricants manufacturer in the open market, TOPAZ will not compete with the ‘oil major’ but works to complement each other in this business.
DISTRIBUTION NETWORK
Our experience since year 1989 in the field of Lubricants manufacturing and supply to the open market has encouraged TOPAZ to establish its own distribution networks nationwide. These distributors have been carefully selected based on their stocking ability and performance in handling the delivery of supplies right to the customers’ door steps. Besides distributors, TOPAZ also provides direct delivery service and storage on behalf of our customers. This is a desirable feature to our customers as it saves them a high amount of handling cost such as transportation, double handling, warehouse cost and overhead.

To prevent spills and leaks of hazardous substances, we work hard to make sure our facilities are well designed, safely operated, regularly inspected and well maintained. Our Senior Management is totally committed and have invested and installed 24/7 online automated system that monitors and tracks all storage tank levels and cut off power to pumps when there is an overflow condition or when a leak is detected preventing any major problems.
